Hottest Women On Business TV Tournament: Round 4

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to get stock tips or have investing ideas delivered to your email. I'm also on The Twitter. Thanks for visiting!

Jeez, is this thing over yet? Raise your hand if you’re bored… You’re all rude.

Don’t forget to vote for your picks in the previous 3 rounds. Links can be found at the bottom of this post, mostly because I’m way the hell too lazy to post them more than once. How do I stay gainfully employed? Great question.

Anyhoo, let’s do this thing before you get bored and head off to some crappier blog.

1. Amanda Lang

MUCH HOTTER THAN O’LEARY.

I’m not sure if Amanda Lang should be included on this list, since she hasn’t worked for a business channel since 2009, but screw it. She’s hot enough.

She’s the sane half of the Lang and O’Leary Exchange, warding off co-host Kevin O’Leary’s crazy rantings with intelligence and grace. She also shows up on The National sometimes, doing feature stories, subbing in as host on weekends and generally hotting the place up. She also has a book coming out, which I’d recommend you buy except it’s $18.25 for the e-book version. Get it from the library instead.

Amanda is also married, with 2 kids. This disappoints me, but I’m moving on. She’s also on the Twitter, just not very often.

2. Seema Mody

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, UPROAR STYLE.

True story: when I was in middle school, there was a girl named Seema who was in my grade. And for some reason, she always cracked me up. She would say hi to me and I’d just burst into laughter. She was just so goofy looking. Luckily, Seema never seemed to take it personally, and I’m sure she grew up to be both more successful and better looking than me.

Meanwhile, we have the second Seema in my life, Seema Mody. And hot diggity, she is a cutie. I apologize in advance for the crappy pic, there are better ones but they’re tiny.

Seema started off working for CNBC in India, before venturing her way across the pond in 2011 to work for the mother network. Before going to work in India, Seema went to the University of Washington in Seattle, where she got a B.S. in Biological Sciences, authoring a paper on the efficiency of artificial heart valves WHEN SHE WAS 18. When you were 18 you were still sneaking booze into your slurpee cup and thinking you fooled all the adults.

Seema is on the Twitter, where she sometimes tweets pictures of herself looking all hot. How many times do I have to tell my female followers that’s what the fellas want?

3. Trish Regan

NOT RELATED TO COURTNEY

Up next is the second Regan of the tournament, except they spell their names differently. So we are at least 99.7% sure they are not related, except for sharing the hot gene.

Trish used to be a CNBC girl, hosting The Call from 2007-11, before deciding the grass was much greener over on Bloomberg’s side of the fence. Before CNBC, she worked as correspondent for CBS and for Goldman Sachs, with only one of those things being evil. She graduated from Columbia University in 2000, meaning she’s in her mid 30s. Does that count as being a cougar yet?

Too bad fellas, she’s married and has 3 kids. Unless you’re into chicks with kids I suppose. Apparently her husband is an investment banker, and they’ve been married 11 years. I guess it’s a little serious.

Trish makes it 3 for 3 by being on Twitter, but her feed just mostly promotes her show. We were all hoping for bikini/lingerie pics and Trish has let us down. For shame.

4. Emily Chang

(GONG)

Capping off the first round is Emily Chang, formerly of CNN (hence the picture) and currently a reporter for Bloomberg, where she hosts a show dedicated to technology called Bloomberg West. We all know the nerds she interviews can barely talk to her without wetting their pants.

She was born in Honolulu, hanging out on the beach until it was time to go to college. After graduating from Harvard, Em (I call her that because we’re tight) went on to be a reporter for some station in San Diego, generally making that station to be much more pleasant for everyone. She went from there to CNN, where they sent her to China, probably the decision of some producer who was jealous of Emily’s hotness.

Emily is married, and has a kid, so I think my chances of going out with her are pretty slim. Oh, like I had a chance anyway. She went to Harvard.

We are a perfect 4 for 4 for Twitter accounts. Emily’s is heavy on baby stuff, so it’ll be just like the Facebook of that girl you went to school with. Maybe even Seema. Hottest Women On Business TV Tournament: Round 3Hottest Women On Business TV Tournament: Round 2Hottest Women On Business TV Tournament: Round 1

Nelson your the best, I can’t understand why your PF blog isn’t number one….. It’s the one i rate at No. one for common sense and reminding people of the starkly obvious….

  2. Joe:

Is there anyway I can cast my vote as a negative vote against Amanda Lang? Also, I’d appreciate if my vote could simultaneously credit Maria Bartiromo.

  3. Pam@thesavingsblog:

Oh they’re all gorgeous, hands down to these women!

  4. Nelson Smith:

What’s your problem with Amanda Lang? Is it because you’re secretly jealous that you’re not hitting that?

  5. Nelson Smith:

Hands down… and something else up. HEYO.

  6. Nelson Smith:

Thanks for the kind words Paul. I swear, I didn’t pay him to say that.

  7. Mark:
